Fritz Homann

With the takeover of the Homann group of companies in 1989, Fritz Homann assumed the management of HOMANN HOLZWERKSTOFFE GmbH, HOMANIT Holding GmbH as well as HOMANIT GmbH & Co. KG and has borne the entrepreneurial responsibility since then.

Over the last three decades, Fritz Homann has developed the Group into the leading specialist for finished thin boards in Europe. He is constantly striving to improve the company through agility, flexibility and process optimization and to manufacture optimum products for its customers. In future, the focus will remain on the continuous expansion of the market position.

Michael Albert

As Managing Director and CFO of Homanit Holding GmbH, Michael Albert has been with Homann Holzwerkstoffe Group since February 2023. From May 2023, he will also assume the position of CFO of Homann Holzwerkstoffe Group. 

After his first professional years in auditing, his career path soon took the qualified business graduate to management positions at various medium-sized companies, including in the wood-based materials industry. Most recently, Michael Albert was Managing Director of the Augsburg-based robot manufacturer KUKA.

With his experience and expertise, he completes the management team of Homann Holzwerkstoffe Group and, as CFO, is responsible for all topics in the areas of financing, controlling, accounting, taxes, legal and IT.

Gunnar Halbig

As Managing Director of Homann Holzwerkstoffe GmbH and Homanit Holding GmbH, Gunnar Halbig has been active for the Homann Holzwerkstoffe Group since September 2022. With his profound expertise, he is responsible for the areas of technology, production and investments.

The qualified wood-technology graduate engineer has more than 20 years of experience with major companies in the European furniture market. For various panel material manufacturers and furniture companies, Gunnar Halbig held leading positions in the areas of procurement and technology, acted as Head of Group Purchasing, and was most recently Managing Director at a specialist in the production of lightweight furniture.
